Cerys brings you her new discoveries and conversations from exploring this weekend's WOMAD festival.

Cerys catches up with a Latin-Grammy award winning Brazilian supergroup Bala Desejo ahead of their only UK performance, chats drumming and improvisation with Deerhoof's Greg Saunier and Satomi Matsuzaki. Saigon Soul Revival discuss Vietnamese cooking and how they are bringing back the raw, live sound of 1960s and 70s Vietnamese rock and soul music and Adam and Roy from The Allergies tell Cerys about samples, breaks and collaborations.

Plus there's a Highlife celebration with live music from Ghana Special: Kwashibu Area Band, Pat Thomas & Charles Amoah in session from 大象传媒 Maida Vale.
