Emily has an in-depth interview with Paul Banks and Daniel Kessler from Interpol.

Interpol are returning to the UK in November for a tour celebrating the twentieth anniversary of their second album Antics. The record was released in 2004 and featured tracks like C'Mere, Slow Hands and Evil. The New York band formed in the late 90s and broke through at the same time as a large contingent of New York guitar bands such as The Strokes and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The band's dark sound was quickly compared to Joy Division and they released their debut album Turn On The Bright Lights in 2002. To date they've released seven studio albums.

Plus Emily catches up with the band Ultimate Thunder ahead of them supporting Yard Act at their homecoming show in Leeds this weekend. Ultimate Thunder are a Leeds learning-disabled and neuro-divergent band described as 鈥淭he Fall meets Hawkwind鈥 and have released two albums to date. Emily speaks to James, Matthew and Kenneth from the band, alongside James Smith from Yard Act, to see how they're all feeling ahead of the big gig.

Plus another brand new quiz is created by the Music Quiz Generator, giving one of you the opportunity to win a Music Sounds Better With Huw pinbadge. And Emily declares that your evening has begun with the Home Run playlist at 5 o'clock.
