Andy White live at Stendhal, 2024

Andy White performing live at the Stendhal Festival, 2024.

In January 2024, legendary Northern Irish songwriter, novelist and poet Andy White released his first ever spoken word album, 鈥淕ood Luck I Hope You Make It鈥. It was a record which saw him return to some of his earliest inspirations, Jack Kerouac, John Cooper Clarke, Bob Dylan and early hip-hop. The results were a sparkling navigation through the political and the personal in a bewildering era of conflict, chaos and confusion.

On the 6th of July 2024, joined by Rod McVey on keys, he took to the stage in Karma Valley, at the Stendhal Festival, in a black wide-brimmed fedora and an iconic black jacket designed by his son and delivered a breathtaking set spanning his entire career from his first EP 鈥淩eligious Persuasion鈥, right through to the new album and including songs like 鈥淛ames Joyce鈥檚 Grave鈥 and 鈥淪treet Scenes from My Heart鈥.
