DJ Spoony serves up tunes from the 70s to the present day, from soulful house to lyrical garage, and rhythmical RnB to awe-inspiring remixes. It's all killer and no filler with big dollops of nostalgia to make you smile. Our genial host also unveils his 鈥楴ew 2 Spoon鈥� which is a minty-fresh track that has caught his ears in the week.

80s Latin pop sensation Kid Creole chooses the tracks that take him back as he shares his early clubbing tales in 'Rewind Selector'. In 1974 August Darnell formed Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band to much critical acclaim. The self-titled debut album was certified gold and they were nominated for a Grammy award. In 1980 August adopted the name Kid Creole and teamed up with his trio of backing vocalists, The Coconuts. Their breakthrough came with 1982's Tropical Gangsters album, a number 3 hit in the UK, which spun three Top 10 hits 'Stool Pigeon', 'Annie, I'm Not Your Daddy' and 'I'm A Wonderful Thing, Baby'. He also scored a hit with 'Take Me For a Night in New York' under the guise of Elbow Bones and The Racketeers a year later. The Brit Award winner who has worked with Prince, appeared in a number of films including 'Against All Odds' and 'Jean-Michel Basquiat' and is still touring his special blend of grooves with recent dates in the UK.

Two very special mixes keep the Friday night vibes flowing. Kicking off the show is 'The Good Groove 90s Party Mix' for hot tub discos, car seat dancing and living room sing-alongs everywhere. Then later on our host takes to the decks live for 'The Good Groove Deep Cuts Mix', a glamorous, high energy selection that will make you want to push back the sofa and dance.
