Classical music to inspire you

Take time out with a 30-minute soundscape of classical favourites. Today's mix includes music by Mozart, Bach, Tallis, Ruth Gipps, and Ibert.

Half an hour of back to back classical music to help wind down at the end of a busy day. Opening with a Mozart overture, today's sequence provides a delightful variety of sonorities from composers such as Jacques Ibert, Ruth Gipps, Joseph Canteloube and Thomas Tallis. All that and a Rachmaninov influenced arrangement by the pianist Stephen Hough of a popular Russian song made famous by the jazz musician Kenny Ball.
