The first ever Monsters of Rock Festival at Donington Race Track has become the stuff of legend. Rainbow, Judas Priest, The Scorpions, Saxon... a line-up of dreams for rock fans at the dawn of the 1980s. Johnnie's taking a look back at the rock god of Saxon, frontman Biff Byford, to celebrate 44 years since that very day.
Also, Woodstock '94 was a who's who of 90's rock... held in upstate New York to mark 25 years since the 1969 festival, the event in 1994 wasn't quite the love-in that organisers hoped it would be. It was dubbed 'Mudstock' owing to the rain and ensuing sludge created... still, the chaos and craziness went down in music history, and it celebrates its 30th birthday this week.
