Unlock the best of the Edinburgh Festival 2024 with award-winning comedian Mark Nelson.
Mark and his star team of comedians have been scouring the brochures, posters and venues for the best performers, personalities and shows from the world-famous festival in the capital.
This week, Mark meets the legend of stage and screen, Miriam Margolyes, who has starred in Harry Potter, Doctor Who and Romeo and Juliet, she’s back at the Fringe for the first time in over a decade.
Star of Succession and Bob Servant, and newest patron of the Fringe, Brian Cox takes a break in filming to speak to Mark and share his survival tips for August.
Regular reporter Jamie MacDonald is back to give his unique perspective on the brightest, loudest and most flamboyant shows he can find – this week he faces his two biggest fears: musicals and improv.
Comedian Susan Riddell joins the team and heads out into the Edinburgh International Festival to see what’s on offer, and Harthill-turned-Las Vegas resident Colin Cloud is the centre of attention with a colourful cast of characters.
Plus there’s stand-up from Scotland’s home-grown talent, and plenty of surprises from an international cast of performers ready to make the crowds laugh, cry, sing and dance.
