Released in 1991, Blue Lines is the debut album by Bristol band Massive Attack. With singles including Daydreaming, Unfinished Sympathy and Safe from Harm, it is seen as the record which pioneered the 'trip hop' genre - blending electronic music with elements of hip hop, dub and reggae. It reached no. 13 on the UK Albums Chart and was nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Album in 1992.
