They decide to go on without him, but Sodom is killed by a cannonball from the marines. Meanwhile, Sogeking, who was left behind at the Main Gate, is trying to decide what to do next when he notices the giant guard Oimo crying out of despair. Sogeking urges him to tell him his story and finds out that Oimo and Kaashee are actually from Elbaf, the village of warriors, home of Broggy and Dorry of Little Garden. Oimo and Kaashee used to be pirates on Broggy and Dorry's crew until they started their battle. When neither of their captains returned to their village even after many decades, they set sail to try to find them. However, they were picked up by the Navy on the way and were told that Broggy and Dorry are incarcerated in the World Government prison. They were also told that Broggy and Dorry will be released if they can protect the Enies Lobby gate for 100 years. But Sogeking, or Usopp, who takes his mask off as he passionately explains the truth to Oimo, convinces him that the two proud giants are still on the same island where they left them. Meanwhile, Luffy has made it to the roof of the courthouse and begins his fight against Blueno.
