In Grand Jipangu, the whole town is looking forward to the annual flower-viewing festival the next day. However, the festival is cancelled since the great sakura tree vanished overnight. Usopp suspects that it was stolen by Luffy, who was acting strangely the previous day, trying to find a way to show the flowers to his sick friend Ninjin. Usopp and Sanji find Luffy at Ninjin's house, where Rika tells them that the previous night, she, Peman, and Tamanegi saw a group of mysterious men at the tree. At that moment, they receive a letter tied on an arrow from Robin, who informs them that the sakura is on a ship docked behind an island offshore. When Luffy, Sanji, and Usopp go to the ship, they find out that Foxy had Buggy steal the tree for him. But Foxy refuses to pay Buggy for his service and attacks him with his Noro Noro Beam. He also attacks Luffy and his friends but in the end gets blown away by Luffy's Gum Gum attack. Afterwards, Luffy brings the sakura back to town, and the flower-viewing festival commences on Foxy's ship.
