From the Bridge of Hesitation, they see Enies Lobby on fire and learn that there are no survivors on the island. Franky is distraught that his men, as well as the giants and the Galley-La shipwrights, have been struck down by the three battleships that were awaiting them at the Main Gate, and he shouts out to Luffy, who is still fighting Lucci inside the support pillar, to hurry up and come back to his friends. Meanwhile, Luffy enters Gear Second and declares that he will not come out of it until he defeats Lucci.
