Moria's shadow escapes leaving Luffy stranded in the forest, and a couple strange men wait for Luffy to come chasing after the shadow. Zolo starts fighting Ozu with his new sword, Shuusui, but Ozu manages to dodge his attacks. Kuma informs Moria that Blackbeard has been appointed to replace Crocodile and that the Government is worried that the Straw Hat Pirates might defeat him too. An angry Moria refuses Kuma's offer to help him and enters a hidden cockpit in Ozu's stomach. Zolo and the others realize that Moria has eluded Luffy and that it is up to them to defeat Moria and Ozu before dawn. Usopp takes off for the kitchen to gather more salt to purify Ozu, but Ozu strikes out at him and the passageway. Brook comes to his rescue just in time and also brings a large bag of salt with him.
