Paul Heaton chooses his final Tracks of my Years

Paul Heaton - former frontman of The Housemartins and The Beautiful South - picks his final two songs on Tracks Of My Years. Plus more quizzing in Ten To The Top.

One of the UK's most successful songwriters, Paul Heaton shares his final two favourite song choices on this week鈥檚 Tracks Of My Years.

Paul first emerged in the 80s as the front man of The Housemartins - counting Norman Cook among his bandmates - and then went on to even greater success in The Beautiful South. Paul and the gang achieved chart hits such as "Song For Whoever", "You Keep It All In", "A Little Time", "Rotterdam", "Don't Marry Her" and "Perfect 10" before the band went their separate ways.

After releasing several solo albums, in 2014 Paul reunited with his former Beautiful South bandmate Jacqui Abbott to release a new album, 'What Have We Become?'. It was a critical success, and they went on to record five acclaimed albums as a duo.

Earlier this year, Paul performed at Glastonbury; he鈥檒l be heading to Preston for Radio 2 in the Park in September, and in November, he鈥檒l be out on tour with the release of his a new album, "The Mighty Several".
