As Match of the Day celebrates 60 years since its first broadcast, 大象传媒 Sport looks back through the archives to relive some of the show鈥檚 iconic moments. This documentary features rare interview footage with former Match of the Day presenters, including the late Kenneth Wolstenholme, who fronted the very first edition on 22 August 1964. Back then, the programme showed one football match with brief analysis at pitchside.

We see how changes through the years have made MOTD what it is today. We also see Gary Lineker鈥檚 first forays into TV punditry as his playing career concluded. 2024 sees the presenter celebrating 25 years in the show鈥檚 leading role.
