The playlist includes material by Jeff Buckley alongside artists whose work was a formative influence- Led Zeppelin- on him alongside those he covered in concert.
These include Nina Simone, whose 1966 version of Lilac Wine provided the template for his own. Also featured are Van Morrison, whose The Way Young Lovers Do (from Astral Weeks) was a highlight of his performances at the Sin-e club in New York, where he held a residency where Bob Dylan (also included in this mix) was also a regular reference point.
The programme also includes Jeff Buckley's performance of the first Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan record he was introduced to.
