Late Junction turns 25!

Verity Sharp marks 25 years of adventurous music with Late Junction memories, highlights and old friends, as well as some brand new releases.

It鈥檚 not everyday you reach a quarter of a century! The first episode of Late Junction was broadcast exactly 25 years ago - on the 13th of September, 1999. And so, you are cordially invited to join Verity Sharp for a silver jubilee of a show in celebration of two and a half decades spent riding the waves of adventurous music. Alongside highlights, memories and a couple of old friends dropping in as guests, we鈥檒l dip into our archive of collaboration sessions, including the recently released work of French hurdy-gurdy player Yann Gourdon and Indonesian collective Uwalmassa.

Elsewhere, we鈥檒l have our eyes on a couple of upcoming festivals, including Fat Out in Manchester and Glasgow鈥檚 Sonica, as well as new releases including Nigerian synth pioneer Mamman Sani.
