The programme begins live at Wigmore Hall in London where counter-tenor Iestyn Davies and lutenist Sergio Bucheli perform music by John Dowland and Henry Purcell.

Also this week on Classical Live we're bringing you highlights from this year’s Leeds International Piano Competition, looking ahead to the Finals this coming weekend with performances today from the first two of the ten semi-finalists.

And there’s also chamber music from last month’s Edinburgh International Festival and recent recordings from the German WDR Symphony Orchestra under Constantinos Carydis.
