Emma-Marie has an early start for her first drugs warrant. Drew, Rhys and Saskia help keep the roads safe, and Sophie must find a man acting suspiciously.
Gwent Police鈥檚 newest recruits are halfway through their three-month tutorship, and the pressure is mounting. Emma-Marie pairs up with her experienced tutor Ed for a dawn raid on a drugs den in Newport. With the dealers caught unawares, Emma-Marie is called on to make an arrest.
Drew, Rhys and Saskia take part in a traffic operation on one of the busiest stretches of the M4 and for one driver, her expired insurance leaves her with an impounded car. She claims to be on her way to the airport to catch a holiday flight.
Ex-supermarket assistant Rhys has set his sights on becoming a police dog handler. When he gets the chance to spend a day with the dog
unit, he jumps at the opportunity. Rhys soon finds himself getting kitted out in the protective suit to help put German shepherd, Mink, through his paces, practicing tracking down and apprehending a suspect.
Sophie and tutor Sal search for a man who has been reported to be acting strangely on the side of the road. When they speak to the man, it looks like he has something concealed down his trousers. But when he pulls the object out, the pair are in for a shock.
