Your perfect Sunday soundtrack

Sarah Walker with three hours of classical music to reflect, restore and refresh, whether you鈥檙e making breakfast or outside enjoying some early autumn sun.

Sarah Walker with three hours of classical music to reflect, restore and refresh.

Today Sarah discovers gentleness in the meditative choral music of Palestrina, and the cascading harp patterns of Lynn Palmer鈥檚 鈥楥lassical Suite鈥. And there鈥檚 music to awaken the senses, with a flamboyant performance of a Chopin impromptu, and the strident brass of Girolamo Frescobaldi鈥檚 鈥楾occata鈥.

There鈥檚 a wistful mood in the air too, as Richard Rodney Bennett injects a beautiful piano duet with syncopated samba rhythms, and Veronique Gens sings Faur茅鈥檚 first published song about a flower鈥檚 unrequited love.

Plus, Dvorak takes us to the Carnival鈥
