From floating in a pond in Vermont to slipping between space and the sky, five audio-makers offer a series of Radio 3's innovative Between the Ears features in miniature inspired by the elements.

In 'Fire, Faith and Fury', writer and performer Daljeet Kaur Jutla reflects on the significance of fire in the ongoing journey of grief, healing, faith and spirituality 20 years after her father鈥檚 tragic death - from the small sparks of childhood memories to the inferno of political upheaval in 1984 Delhi when Sikhs were brutally murdered.

Daljeet Kaur Jutla is a writer/producer whose writing and performances have featured in places like 大象传媒 Radio 4's Short Cuts, Broccoli Productions' Anthems podcast and as a writer/producer of her Indie podcast 'Spoken Truth to Power' funded by ACE England. She has recently co-produced an audio piece for the Empathy Museum series 'A Mile in my Shoes'.

Special thanks to the musicians who performed at the 鈥淏aithak鈥 at Khalsa Jatha British Isles organised by Sardar Jasdeep Singh 鈥 an initiative to develop and nurture young talent in music - and Nikky-Guninder Kaur Singh, Crawford Family Professor of Religion at Colby College.
