Many people from remote areas of Bangladesh are having to leave their homes to escape the impacts of climate change. Twelve years ago, Shahinur and her husband鈥檚 home was washed away during a storm. They left for the capital, Dhaka, to find work.聽

Supporting women-led businesses
With support and training from BRAC, Shahinur started her own vegetable business in Dhaka. The business has grown and she鈥檚 been able to afford to buy a plot of land, and send her eldest child to school.
