Sandersonia and Marigold concede defeat to Luffy, and Hancock agrees to grant Luffy a wish of either getting a ship or saving Margaret. He surprises the sisters by choosing the latter without hesitation. Luffy is brought to the palace, where Hancock confesses that the sisters’ were once slaves of the Tenryubito and shows him the slave symbol on her back. She reluctantly shows him her vulnerability but becomes surprised and happy when he does not scorn her for being a former slave. She then tells Luffy that he can user her ship.
