Mr. 3 and Buggy are captured by Hannyabal, but as they are about to get taken away by the Gokusotsu Demon Guards, Bon Kurei shows up in their defense. Luffy fights in vain against Magellan and his Venom Venom powers. He gets covered with poison and inhales poisonous gas Magellan breathes out of his mouth. In one final desperate attempt, Luffy attacks Magellan鈥檚 Hydra, but he gets swallowed whole. Looking at Luffy covered from head to foot in poison, Magellan asserts that there is no way to detoxify the amount of poison Luffy has taken and that Luffy will suffer for 24 hours and then die.
