Ivankov also tells Bon Kurei that by the time Luffy鈥檚 treatment is completed and even if he survives, Ace will already have been executed. The tormented Bon Kurei, who is seriously injured himself, decides to cheer Luffy on from outside the cave where he is receiving his treatment. Touched by his determination and their friendship, Ivankov and all the residents of New Kama Land join him in cheering for Luffy. As morning approaches and Ace is about to be transferred to Marine Headquarters for the public execution, Luffy miraculously comes out of the treatment healed.
