Huw has an in-depth conversation with two of the finest electronic artists, producers and DJs - friends and collaborators Kelly Lee Owens and Daniel Avery.

Kelly Lee Owens is a Welsh producer, singer and DJ who has just released her new album Dreamstate, via DH2. Kelly says the new record was inspired by her 鈥渋nner evolution鈥� and collaborative spirit: 鈥淚t鈥檚 the sound of a person letting loose and letting go while encouraging everyone else to do the same.鈥� Across the record, there are producer-writer credits from the likes of Bicep鈥榮 Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar, The Chemical Brothers鈥� Tom Rowlands, and The 1975鈥榮 George Daniel (who runs the DH2 imprint releasing the record).

Daniel Avery is a British DJ and producer who was mentored in the earlier stages of his career by the late, great Andrew Weatherall. Since releasing his debut album Drone Logic on Phantasy in 2013, Daniel has progressed since to become one of the most widely-recognised and revered talents in British electronic music. His most recent album, Ultra Truth, was released in 2022 and featured Kelly Lee Owens on vocals for the track Chaos Energy. In the same year, he debuted his first-ever live show. As a DJ, he has headlined and curated lineups for venues and events including Fabric, Les Nuits Sonores and The Warehouse Project.
