Ace attacks a couple of hoodlums, steals their money, and goes into the forest where he meets up with a boy named Sabo. Ace and Sabo have been robbing people and saving up to become pirates one day. Then Luffy shows up. Afraid that Luffy will tell people about their stash, Ace and Sabo decide to kill him. Luffy starts screaming for help, which attract the attention of Porchemy, who came looking for Ace and the cash he stole from his crew, the Bluejam Pirates. Luffy is immediately captured by Porchemy and is taken away to his hideout, where he is badly tortured. Ace and Sabo move their stash to a different location, but when they find out that Luffy hasn鈥檛 talked, they raid Porchemy鈥檚 hideout to rescue him.
