Unable to steer the hot-air balloon, she is blown back to the island where she is held captive by the scholars. She explains to them about her captain and their situation, and the scholars agree to let her out. She then kidnaps Haredas to make him guide her to the world below. In Barujimoa, Kitton informs his grandpa that Franky is acting outrageously again. Franky asks for a ship to get off the island, but there is none except for an icebreaker in Vegapunk鈥檚 lab. Franky sneaks into the lab to steal it but accidently pushes the self-destruct button which Grandfather warned him about earlier. The lab blows up, and the incident comes to be known as the Nightmare of Barujimoa.
