Luffy, Jinbe, and Rayleigh arrive in Marineford on a warship they hijacked. They circle the island once before land. Luffy heads to the Ox Bell in the plaza, rings it 16 times, and then observes a moment of silence by the crack made by Whitebeard. The Marines take it as a declaration of war, while Killer of the Kid Pirates interprets it the end of one era and the beginning of another. Meanwhile, Sengoku and Garp step down from their positions in the Marines; Coby learns he has obtained Haki; Aokiji and Smoker discuss Smoker鈥檚 request to be transferred to Base G5 in the New World; Bege鈥檚 ship gets pulled up to a big black object in the sky; and Urouge鈥檚 ship approaches an island that is constantly being hit by lightning.
