The royal guards come looking for him, but Shirahoshi hides him behind her back and helps him. After the guards leave, Shirahoshi lets Luffy eat her food and tells him about Decken鈥檚 marriage proposal and death threats and how she has been locked up in the tower for 10 years. Luffy then suggests that they go for a walk and assures her that he鈥檒l stop any weapons that come flying at her. Inside the palace, the minister accuses the Straw Hats of kidnapping mermaids and deems them dangerous persons based on Shyarly鈥檚 prophecy. Nami, Brook, and Usopp are about to be captured when Zoro comes to the rescue. Meanwhile, Vander Decken and Hody Jones form an alliance to take down Neptune and destroy his kingdom.
