Some of these addicts are managing to hold down jobs and drug habits side by side. All have hope that they can still ‘wise up’ and find their way out.

Boxer Pete’s family are worried he is using again, and his mum says she can’t live in the family home while he is still there. And after decades of addiction, Alan is really worried about his health issues that are increasingly slowing him down.
