Doug Johnstone, Harry Mould, and Kitti

Len Pennie is joined by crime writer Doug Johnstone, playwright Harry Mould, and jazz singer Kitti.

Presented by Len Pennie.

Len's guests today are Edinburgh-based crime writer Doug Johnstone, whose new novel, Living is a Problem, is the latest installment in a series of books featuring The Skelfs, three generations of women who run a funeral home, with a sideline as private investigators. Harry Mould, whose debut play, The Brenda Line, is inspired by their mother's stories of volunteering for The Samaritans, and learning about a little-known helpline set up to deal with obscene calls; And Paisley-born jazz singer Kitti, whose debut album, Somethin' in the Water, is out next month.
