A three-way battle starts between the Straw Hats, Marines, and Neo Marines. As Luffy, Sanji, and Zoro take on Momonga and Shuzo, Nami and the others prepare to escape with Panz Fry. Since they cannot use Coup de Burst on its own to pull the huge Panz Fry and his raft, they use the force of a Thrust-up Stream, a stream of water that thrusts up from the sea, to make their escape. Before the Sunny moves out of sight, Shuzo manages to stick a Vivre Card onto it and uses it to track them down. As Panz Fry receives medical treatment from Chopper and the others feel relieved about moving out of the Maubegemour Sea, they are discovered by the Neo Marines. Having used up their arsenal in the earlier battle, Shuzo鈥檚 subordinates volunteer to go on a suicide mission on their small underwater vessels.
