The unconscious Luffy, Robin, Franky, Smoker (in Tashigi's body), and Tashigi (in Smoker's body) are bound in chains, and Caesar orders his men to take the Straw Hats back to his room and to leave the Marines outside. Meanwhile, Sanji (in Nami's body) manage to find Kin'emon's torso in the lake, and Kin'emon finally gets his whole body back. He apologizes profusely for his rudeness to Sanji and thanks him for finding his torso. When they realize they're surrounded by Smileys and have nowhere to run, Kin'emon demonstrates his Foxfire Style swordsmanship and burns away the slime. When Kin'emon says goodbye to the Straw Hats and starts to head off for the research institute to rescue his son, Momonosuke, Zoro offers to help him.
