His men start to doubt Caesar's intentions since Shinokuni is startlingly similar to the gas that destroyed the island four years ago. Caesar puts on an act and convinces them that against his better judgment, he produced a similar gas to prove to the Marines that he is the best scientist in the world. He has a flashback about the time four years ago when he was kicked out of the scientific research team and triggered the explosion. Meanwhile, in the garbage pit, Luffy encounters a small, talking dragon.
