British music icon Paul Weller - affectionately known as 'The Modfather' - plays alongside the 大象传媒 Concert Orchestra at 大象传媒 Maida Vale as Radio 2's Piano Room continues its autumn run of performances.
One of the most revered writers and performers of the past five decades, Paul started out as frontman of the influential bands The Jam and The Style Council, before kick-starting a successful solo career in the early 90s.
He鈥檚 released 28 albums to date, and is now rightly hailed as one of the most influential and inventive figures in modern British music. Paul鈥檚 17th solo album '66' was released earlier this year to huge acclaim, and following his first North American tour in seven years in September, he's been touring the UK through October and November.
