Relax and flow with river-inspired music ft. Nanna

脫lafur Arnalds ebbs and flows with some relaxing music inspired by rivers. Plus Icelandic musician Nanna brings us along to her safe haven on the banks of her favourite river.

Icelandic composer and pianist 脫lafur Arnalds goes with the flow in this episode, with a selection of relaxing music inspired by rivers, and the change they can represent in ourselves. He鈥檒l play music by Brian Eno, KMRU and Sophia Subbayya Vastek, and share thoughts on the river systems and glaciers in the landscape around him in Iceland.

Plus fellow Icelander Nanna brings us along to her safe haven. Nanna is a singer, songwriter and guitarist, formerly part of the indie folk band Of Monsters and Men, and now writes a lot of her own solo material in a cabin outside Reykjavik. We join her there, beside the banks of a small river where she spends a lot of time with her dog and the birds, to hear more about what brings her ultimate calm.
