In the battle on the second level, Baby 5 mistakes Sai鈥檚 outbursts as his declaration of love for her and tells Sai she would do anything for him. Sai says she can help him by killing herself, which she happily starts to oblige. In a flashback, her past is revealed. When she was a little girl, she was abandoned by her mother, who told her she was useless. Consequently, she developed the need to be needed and to be of help to other people. Sai is dismayed that she took him seriously and stops her. Chinjao is opposed to Sai鈥檚 sympathy for the enemy and attacks him and Baby 5. Sai overpowers Chinjao, which makes Chinjao proud. Chinjao makes Sai the official leader of the Happo Navy and gives him freedom to do whatever he wants. Then he is defeated by Lao G, who uses his Geo Fist techniques on him. Sai takes on Lao G and also overpowers him, but only after declaring to take Baby 5 as his wife upon victory.
