This week, Kintra marks Remembrance Sunday. There’s a story and poem from listener Freda Lemon as she shares the story of the Lemon Family’s service far from their home in Ballywalter. There’s also a beautiful poem and reading from friend of the show Roy Ferguson.
Also on Kintra this week - highly regarded opera singer Carolyn Dobbin, from Carrickfergus, chatting about ‘The Northern Irish Song Project’. It’s a collection of music she’s been working on that’s deeply rooted in the heart of our Ulster Scots culture and place.
As always, listeners are invited to contact the programme with a good Ulster-Scots yarn or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email - kintra@bbc.co.uk.
