He had then used Brulee鈥檚 ability to turn animals into himself, which he would later use to create a distraction. At the tea party, the fake Luffys cause the wedding cake to collapse and create chaos among the guests. An enraged Big Mom demands that the real Luffy identify himself, and to Bege鈥檚 dismay, Luffy responds. Katakuri foresees that Luffy is trying to break Mother Carmel鈥檚 portrait and warns his mother. Katakuri demands to know who revealed the family secret, and Jimbei admits that it was him. Jimbei also declares that he is leaving Big Mom鈥檚 organization to join the Straw Hats. But Big Mom is unable to take away his lifespan since he is not afraid of death. He returns his sake cup to officially mark his departure from Big Mom. Amidst the commotion, somebody disguised as Luffy breaks Mother Carmel鈥檚 portrait.
