James Blunt chooses this week's Tracks Of My Years
James Blunt - multi-million-selling, award-winning, social-media-conquering singer-songwriter - picks the songs that soundtracked his life in this week's Tracks Of My Years.
James Blunt chooses his Tracks Of My Years all this week.
James is one of the UK’s most loved British singer songwriters, with two Ivor Novello awards and five Grammy nominations. His first album was written at university in Bristol where he also learnt to play the guitar. ‘Back To Bedlam’ went on to become one of the best-selling albums of the noughties.
James has now sold over 20 million records worldwide and his anthem ‘You're Beautiful’ was the first British single to top US charts in nine years. And James has become almost as well-known for his self-effacing wit as his music, including his recent vow to change his name to Blunty McBluntface if Back To Bedlam returned to number 1.
That debut album has recently been remastered and re-released, exactly 20 years to the day of its initial outing. James will be on the road for the 'Back To Bedlam 20th Anniversary tour' from February next year.
