He uses his most powerful attacks of Boundman in Gear 4, which cause Kaido to transform back into his human form. However, Kaido unleashes Thunder Bagua, an attack using his kanabo (metal club) that knocks out Luffy in one blow and renders him unconscious. Law tries to flee with the unconscious Luffy but is interrupted by Hawkins.
