Shutenmaru lies wounded in Atamayama and wonders if his friends have escaped. Kawamatsu tries to cheer up Hiyori who is devastated about her family鈥檚 plight. Denjiro escapes safely, but his implacable outrage causes a drastic change in his appearance. He returns to Flower Capital where he takes on the identity of Kyoshiro, a yakuza boss who is loyal to Orochi. He also reunites with Hiyori, and they agree on a plot to deceive Orochi until the return of Kin鈥檈mon and others 20 years later. Fast forward back to present day, Orochi, who is terrified of Toki鈥檚 prophecy, discusses with Kaido about his loyal spy who has infiltrated the Kozuki clan.
