For tonight's 'Old' Music Fix, Deb Grant digs into her record collection and shares some vintage gems from decades past. Including tracks from the likes of Abbey Lincoln, Detroit Grand Pubahs, Ken Nordine and Apple & The Three Oranges.
Plus, London label, Death Is Not The End provide a very special Guest Mix featuring a mix of shidaiqu, a hybrid musical genre that began permeating through Shanghai in the late 1920s - a blend of pop, jazz, blues and Hollywood-inspired film soundtracks with traditional Chinese elements.
