Meanwhile, Kanjuro arrives at the attic where Momonosuke is hiding. Kanjuro disguises himself as Kozuki Oden, but Kin鈥檈mon and O-Kiku aren鈥檛 fooled. O-Kiku starts to attack Kanjuro, but she can鈥檛 bring herself to attack someone who looks like her beloved master. Kanjuro stabs her with his sword, and O-Kiku falls. Kanjuro and Kin鈥檈mon recall how they used to be best friends, but Kin鈥檈mon slays the treacherous Kanjuro. Then Kaido appears in the attic in front of Kin鈥檈mon, Momonosuke, and Shinobu. Kin鈥檈mon tells Shinobu to run away with Momonosuke and stands up to Kaido.
