1975 saw Led Zeppelin headline five historic nights at London's Earls Court... in 1985, the hair got bigger with albums from the likes of Bon Jovi, while Killing Joke brought a darker edge to proceedings and Run DMC mixed hip hop with rock n' roll. 1995, and alternative rock was riding high in the US, with landmark albums from the likes of Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, while Queen and AC/DC were still pumping out new material to their faithful fans. By 2005, nu-metal and emo rock was at the forefront, with the likes of My Chemical Romance. As for 2015 - surely that's not ten years ago already?
