Peter Doherty picks his Tracks Of My Years
The Libertines’ Peter Doherty is Vernon's first Tracks Of My Years guest of 2025, plus the return of Vernon's Vault and a new Album and Record Of The Week.
The Libertines’ Peter Doherty chooses his Tracks Of My Years all this week.
Peter is best known for being co-frontman of The Libertines and founder of Babyshambles. The Libertines formed in 1997 and released their debut album, ‘Up The Bracket’, in 2002. Their self-titled second album reached the top of the UK charts two years later, but they disbanded soon after. Their next album wasn’t released until 2015, and that was followed by another long wait for fans until ‘All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade’ dropped in 2024.
The Libertines were one of the stars of Radio 2’s Piano Room Month last year, and now Peter has a new solo album on the way and will be on tour across the UK and Europe from March to May.
