DJ, broadcaster, writer and dreamer Zakia Sewell provides the soundtrack to your dreams - playing music to ease the mind, soothe the soul, and open portals to new dimensions鈥�
Voyage with Zakia through a spacey synth-filled soundtrack for your Sunday night, filled with celestial sounds, spiritual New Age chants and psychedelic wig-outs. Expect some radiophonic experiments from Delia Derbyshire, organ instrumentals from Mamman Sani, and brand-new Buchla experiments from Maria Teriaeva.
All these synthesized sounds are in honour of this week鈥檚 special guest - the electronic music pioneer Suzanne Ciani. One of the first people to work with the Buchla modular synthesiser in the early 1970s, Suzanne is known for her otherworldly soundscapes, New Age experiments and iconic TV adverts. For Dream Time, she shares some dreams and transports us to an alien world via one of her own compositions.
