Amanda and Alan go all out for their last room, designing a lavish Moorish-themed bar and reveal their labour of love with a big farewell party for their friends and family.

Amanda and Alan go all out for their last room, designing a lavish Moorish-gold-themed bar. In search of inspiration, they head to a traditional tea house in the oldest neighbourhood in Granada, but sipping on their tea is the least of their worries as they get more than they bargained for when they鈥檙e treated to a surprise belly dance performance!

For their last hurrah, Amanda refuses to hold back and is ready and willing to bring in some opulence, keen to drench the room in patterned wallpaper and fabulous gold touches. With her heart set on covering the bar in luxurious onyx so she can achieve her dream of getting her first ever light-up bar, she must build the structure with Scott, which turns out to be tricker than expected. Meanwhile, Alan wants to create his own intellectual corner, full of classic games, so he dips his toes into the ancient wooden craft of Taracea and finds he鈥檚 a natural as he helps to make his own bespoke chessboard.

To ensure their bar stocks some of the best liquors Spain has to offer, the best friends visit the birthplace of sherry for a tasting session at one of Jerez鈥檚 most historic bodegas. Not keen on the fortified wine, Alan struggles through the tasting, while Amanda embraces each bottle with relish. Sherry expert Juan uses his effervescent personality to convince Alan to learn to love Jerez鈥檚 favourite export.

Back at the house, the best friends face one of their most challenging tasks to date, wallpapering the ceiling with an intricate tiled design. With their skills pushed to the limit, the pals take some time out with one last trip to Malaga and embrace their inner Barbie as Amanda tries to teach Alan how to roller-skate along the promenade, without much success.

In Moclin, with the house finally complete, they give the bar one final zhuzh before cracking open the bubbly, hanging Amanda鈥檚 gold drapes and lighting up her favourite onyx bar. Their fully renovated B&B is finally ready to open, so they christen the house with a big farewell party, inviting all their local friends and family for one last Spanish knees-up.
