Rounding off the third week of Radio 2 Piano Room, Oscar-nominated actress turned singer-songwriter Kate Hudson performs alongside the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Concert Orchestra live from ´óÏó´«Ã½ Maida Vale studios.

Since the release of her debut album ‘Glorious’ last year, the star of 'Almost Famous' , 'Fools Gold' and 'Glass Onion' has been making a name for herself as a singer-songwriter.

Long before her breakout role in 'Almost Famous', Kate had been writing her own songs and dreaming of a career in music. But as she found success as an actor, the idea of pursuing music seemed too unrealistic, before realising her dream last year.

Back for its fourth year, Radio 2's Piano Room Month sees globally famous, award-winning artists perform three tracks - a new song, one of their well-known numbers, and an unexpected cover version - all accompanied by the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Concert Orchestra.
