Ardingly 7
Medieval motifs and ancient symbols abound on today’s episode from Ardingly in West Sussex. Jousting for profits at auction are Nick Hall, Tim Weeks and their teams.
Crests and coats of arms are all around, but what do they mean? To find out, Christina Trevanion meets an expert in heraldry, and there’s a surprise in store when she learns what 'let’s go bargain-hunting' is in Latin!
Meanwhile, the red and blue teams joust for victory in a battle for profits in West Sussex. Flying the flag for the red team are friends Natalie and Lacey, with expert Tim Weeks alongside them. For the blues, it’s colleagues Richard and Wendy, who plan to 'boss it'. Helping them is Nick Hall. The reds waste no time perusing a piece of English pottery, but Tim’s not happy with the price tag. Over with the blues, Nick aims to step up their shopping with a set of ladders, but again, there’s no profit in sight. All hope rests with auctioneer Tom Baxter over in Buckinghamshire, but are the bidders in a spending mood?
